ABOUT JAKE

Although I have been coaching clients since 2007, I have spent the majority of my professional life working in theatre and television as an actor and a teacher. It was the study of drama and character analysis plus a feeling of “stuckness” in my own life that sparked my fascination with the triggers of human behavior, my interest in emotional work, and the curiosity that there must be something more to our lives than what we see on the surface.  Working with an ESI© (Emotional Stress Integration) practitioner in 2001 helped me achieve milestones in personal growth. and I went on to become certified in the ESI® technique.  I developed my practice by honing in on the subconscious emotional components of health related issues and physical allergies alongside a NAET® practitioner (www.NAET.com).  My goal was to help clients to find the subconscious beliefs that were integral to the creation and continuation of both physical and emotional issues that they were experiencing. Success with those clients led me to dive deeper into discovering processes and techniques that have taken my work to a whole new level.

I am an Internal Family Systems® trained practitioner.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and French from Illinois State university and a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Florida State University.
